Maria Menounos proves that she is like We thanks to my husband Keven UndergaroThere are many nicknames for her.
“So Keven, at first, called me Froggy,” the TV show host, 46, exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us every week. “It went away once I stopped being cute, started being a type A girl…that's what he says.”
Menounos jokes that Undergaro's nicknames for her went from cute to teasing as their connection grew. The couple ties the knot during 2017 New Year celebrations in Times Square after 15 years of dating. Now, Undergaro's nicknames for his wife range from “Mrs.” Bitch” to “The Crowd Goes Wild” – and Menounos explains why.
“Keven is really funny and he has lots of nicknames for everyone. Our dogs each had 50 names and Keven loves to bother me,” she shares. “So we'll go to Chili's for dinner and the wife will say, 'Oh, how much?' He will say “One”. He'll say, “Two, one bitch.” » And the waitress always says, “What? »
Menounos teases that Undergaro, 57, has a “dark sense of humor.” Aside from having random nicknames, Menounos shares that she and Undergaro chat daily at an interesting place.
“Keven and I have our morning meetings in the shower,” she says. “This is where we review everything.”
Keep scrolling to see how much We Menounos is:
We: What was the last thing you queued for?
Menounos: Grocery stores. You're waiting in line to pay for your groceries, I just did it. I don't like waiting in line…I hate queues.
We: When was the last time you went out to a nightclub?
Menounos: I don't know. I remember my college years were in Boston, but that's it. I spent a lot of time cleaning nightclubs in Boston.
We: What is the task or errand that you tend to procrastinate or procrastinate?
Menounos: I don't know. I'm pretty diligent in my shopping at the moment [but] I think Amazon returns are pretty boring.
We: What is your favorite song to sing in the shower and why?
Menounos: Well, I have some Greek songs. I really like singing in the shower [but] I'm starting to realize I didn't sing the shower a lot because I'm with Keven, so we talk.
We: What was the last meal you prepared for yourself or your family?
Menounos: I bought some cauliflower crust and made my great pizza. SO [for] my super pizza, you use Rao's sauce, you have chopped garlic, you have fresh oregano, you have grated parmesan [and] put that there. Add a little salt, then add fresh mozzarella – sliced - then throw some of the other mozzarella on top. A little oregano on top [and] put it in the oven.
We: What celebrity news are you obsessed with right now?
Menounos: I don't care about celebrity news. I'm sorry. I never really cared about it in the first place. I was supposed to be a sportscaster. I just fell into it. It just happened. I like everyone, but I don't really care what everyone does unless it's something I want to see. I'm happy everyone is doing their thing, but I'm not actively looking [for] what everyone does. It's not me. …Finding out how to get better, how to survive, how to give less F's, how to heal – that's my energy zone.
We: What time do you wake up and go to bed each night?
Menounos: I try to fall asleep by sunset, which is hard right now on the East Coast. It's very early, but it makes me want to go to bed right away. And then I wake up at sunrise, non-negotiable every day.
We: What are you grateful for?
Menounos: I am grateful to my family every day. Thank you, God, for my family. Thank you for my beautiful, happy, healthy daughter Athena. Thank you for my health and healing. Thank you for allowing me and saving me from having to be here every day so I can be with my baby. Thank you for the abundance of opportunities, great people and just plain great things in my life.
We: What is your New Year's resolution?
Menounos: I can never keep up with these things. I have to think about it for this year. I need time.
