Wednesday, December 18, episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy CohenMelissa, 45, shared her reaction to her sister-in-law and longtime rival Teresa, 52, appearing to take credit for his new cookie business. (After Melissa announced her new venture earlier in December, Teresa shared a cryptic X message that read: “You’re welcome.)
Responding to a virtual fan who asked her opinion, Melissa said on WWHL“Well, she’s welcome for giving him someone to hate for the last decade. So, she’s welcome!”
Melissa's response prompted the host Andy Cohen to say, “You both have done so much for each other. »
“We really did it,” Melissa told Andy.
Melissa shared details about her new brand, Sprinkle by MG, in an exclusive interview with Us every week earlier this month.
“Everyone knows sprinkle cookies are my favorite,” said the The Bravo star said We. “We had this iconic scene [on The Real Housewives of New Jersey] and I’ve always wanted to release mine – it’s been a long time coming.
Also faithful RHONJ As fans know, Gorga's preference for Italian candy was brought to light during season 3 when Teresa remembers throwing away a box of sprinkle cookies that a then-pregnant Gorga had brought into her home on Christmas Eve. (The incident, which inspired a TikTok audio, was just one of many that contributed to their ongoing problems.)
“Everywhere I go people give me sprinkle cookies, [whether] it was during book signings or when they came to Envy,” Gorga continued. “When we go to Dolores' [Catania’s Battle for Brooklyn’ baseball] games, everyone holds up “Team Sprinkle” [signs].”
Since I joined RHONJ During Season 3, Melissa and Teresa's ups and downs dominated the show's storyline over the past 11 seasons. However, both men refused to do you talk about season 14aired earlier this year, sparking speculation about a casting shakeup in the future.
For her part, Melissa said she was ready to leave the series.
“I'm ready for anything at this point, obviously because of all the rumors going around,” Melissa said during an August episode of “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast. “I’m fully prepared for anything.”
“I think I would realize that her and I are two extremely different characters, so to speak, on the show,” Melissa told the podcast hosts. Judge Tamra And Teddi Mellencamp. “So if Bravo decides to go that route and, sort of, the darker route, then I have to say that's not a show I want to be on anyway.”
“I don’t want to be involved in this toxic shit. As long as you know it's there and all this will come back, I won't consider it a loss,” she continued. “I also want to say that I ran for 14 years… You can't do it forever. You don't go on a TV show for 50 years. [or] 20 years old. I mean, I've been here 14 years.
Melissa continued, “So do I want to come back? Do I hope they do something a little fresh and new? Of course, I'm not going to lie to everyone. I hope there will be changes, and I don't know if I will be part of them. I don't think anyone knows.
As for the future of RHONJproducer Cohen said We exclusively this week that there won't be an update for a while. “You won’t get it for about a year, so everyone stops asking,” he said. “And I keep saying you won’t get anything, so stop asking!”
