Former WBC interim junior middleweight champion Serhii Bohachuk weighed in at 153.1 pounds, while his replacement opponent, Ishmael Davis, weighed in at 153.6 pounds at Friday's weigh-in for their co-feature fight. 12 rounds this Saturday, December 21 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
British fighter Davis (13-1, 6 KOs) is fighting at world level for the second time after coming close to junior middleweight contender Josh Kelly in his previous fight on September 21 at Wembley Stadium in London.
Ishmael isn't the ideal opponent, but according to promoter Eddie Hearn, Turki Alalshikh is high on him; therefore, Davis, 29, is used as Bohachuk's replacement opponent rather than a top-15 contender.

Ishmael Davis: 153.6
“He’s a man who fights in slow motion. He is very dangerous. He doesn’t have the quickest feet, but he’s so good with his timing and how to close that distance,” commentator Sergio Mora told DAZN Boxing, speaking about Serhii Bohachuk.
“He has great power, he always aims for knockouts. But this power is not behind the speed. It's behind schedule. He's a dangerous Ukrainian in “Flaco”, and I'll tell you that right now. This fight will not last the distance.
“Ishmael Davis comes into this fight on late notice. It was supposed to be Israil Madrimov,” Ade Oladipo said of Davis entering this fight as a replacement opponent after Madriimov withdrew due to illness.
